LINDA GOLDSTEIN, PhD, ISMPP CMPP™
Linda is a freelance medical writer with 24 years’ experience in medical and scientific communications and publication planning. Working in close collaboration with colleagues, she has successfully developed and delivered dozens of strategic and tactical communication plans for diverse clients and in many therapeutic areas of medicine. She has presented and implemented full publication plans for large pharmaceutical companies with blockbuster drugs, and provided stand-alone projects for small biotechs with promising pipelines.
Before coming to medical communications, Linda worked as a Research Analyst at an Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality (AHRQ) Evidence-based Practice Center, where she gained experience performing meta-analyses and writing health technology assessments (HTAs). Linda also spent 5 years conducting epidemiologic research in public health and injury prevention. She is recognized for her attention to detail and the comprehensive nature of her work.
Linda received her BS degree in Biological Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University at University Park, Pennsylvania and holds a dual PhD in Neuroscience and Psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She is a member of American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) and is a Certified Medical Publications Professional (CMPP) with the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP).

Director of Business Development
MARK V. FANSLER
Mark has more than 30 years of experience in business administration and operations. As CEO for The Write Source MSC, he is responsible for optimizing agency operations, which includes business development, client services, contract negotiations, fiscal forecasting, and talent acquisition.
During his career, Mark has served as Director, Vice President, President, and CEO of companies that experienced exponential growth under his direction. As a senior executive, his responsibilities included strategic planning, developing and implementing company procedures, financial modeling and marketing, and providing ongoing support to ensure the company’s profitability and sustainability.
As an independent consultant, Mark has been called upon to revive failing companies by identifying their deficiencies and liabilities; making recommendations for changes in leadership; and instituting new, viable policies and procedures. An entrepreneur and visionary at heart, Mark possesses a keenly strategic vision, and has capitalized on opportunities for new ventures and the expansion of existing businesses.
He has enjoyed being a member of the Philadelphia chapters of the West Point Society and Union League throughout much of his career. As a Master Graduate of Rapport Leadership International, Mark has served as part of Rapport’s voluntary staff of instructors, coaching future graduates during week-long, intensive training programs. Mark has extensive experience in public speaking for local, regional, and national venues.
Apart from his professional success, Mark is most proud of his accomplishments as a husband, father, and mentor.

Principal Medical Writer
GREG GARGIULO
Greg is a freelance medical writer with more than 16 years of experience in scientific, medical, and health communications. He excels in creating a wide variety of deliverables that includes publications, slide decks, e-learning modules, sales training materials, webinars, continuing medical education content, and treatment guides. He has also assisted with the development of regulatory documents, including dossiers, Investigator’s Brochures, Clinical Evaluation Reports, Clinical Study Reports, and Integrated Safety Summaries. In addition, Greg writes content—such as blogs, newsletters, journal article summaries, video scripts, and other educational materials—for healthcare consumers. His extensive experience writing for non-professional audiences has given him the ability to describe complex topics and concepts with plain language for any reader to understand. Throughout his career, he has worked with small private medical practices, large pharmaceutical and medical device companies, and other clients of various types and sizes, which has helped him understand the dynamic needs of each project and how to meet them appropriately.
Greg began working for The Write Source in early 2017, with Linda serving as his mentor. Over time, his roles and responsibilities for The Write Source have grown significantly, as he eventually began contributing to increasingly larger-scale and longer-term projects for high-profile clients. Throughout this process, Greg has learned the unmistakable value of paying careful attention to detail and communicating clearly with clients at every stage of development to ensure the final product is precise, clean, and error-free. Greg now mentors junior writers on the team and works closely with Linda on a variety of projects, where they share the collective goal of exceeding every client’s expectations.
Greg received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Fairfield University (2006) and began his professional career in journalism before discovering that medical writing was the ideal field for his passion and talents. He went on to obtain a Post-Baccalaureate Health Professions Certificate from the University of California-Berkeley Extension (2014), where he advanced his core competency in biological sciences and health literacy. Upon completing the program, Greg committed to working full-time as a freelance medical writer and focused his professional efforts on building a client base and broadening the scope of his medical writing. He is a member of the Mid-Atlantic chapter of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) and is also the owner of Hyperion Medical Communications, LLC.

Head of Operations
PRIYANKA PARIJAT
Priyanka is a life sciences professional with more than 14 years of scientific research experience across a range of therapeutic areas. She holds a PhD in Immunology from the prestigious National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi, India.

Before joining The Write Source MSC, Priyanka worked as a postdoctoral scientist at King’s College London, where she led multiple research projects. Recognized for her scientific aptitude and attention to detail, Priyanka is a subject matter expert in immunology, cardiometabolic conditions, and infectious diseases. She has presented her research at six international congresses and published nine high-impact articles in prestigious journals such as Nature Communications.

Throughout her career, Priyanka has become adept at organizational and communication skills, allowing her to lead multiple teams, forge effective collaborations, and successfully complete complex projects. Her expertise extends to medical writing projects, including data analytics, generative AI and machine learning for research, publications, e-learning modules, sales training materials, newsletters, SOPs, and educational materials. She is an active member of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA). In 2023, she founded her medical writing and project management company, Parijat Consulting, Limited.
